Haze Advisory (as of 17 Oct, 12am)

Due to the evolving haze situation, SportSG has implemented precautionary measures to safeguard the well-being of our facility users.

All ActiveSG sport facilities will resume operations on 17 October 2026, according to their respective operating hours.

Visitors are advised to monitor prevailing air quality conditions and adjust their activities accordingly. Vulnerable groups, including seniors, children and individuals with existing health conditions, are encouraged to exercise extra caution when participating in outdoor activities.

SportSG will continue to monitor the haze situation closely and adjust operations where necessary.

SportSG’s 24-hour PSI facility advisory is separate from Oyougu Aquatics’ PM2.5 class policy. A facility advisory does not itself confirm whether your lesson is proceeding; check the separate school update below.

Our class policy

What the PM2.5 bands mean for lessons

These are Oyougu Aquatics’ class-policy bands, not PSI labels.

PM2.5 0–99 · Normal

Lessons as normal

Classes proceed as normal under this policy band.

PM2.5 100–150 · Elevated

Continue with lighter activities

Lessons continue with less strenuous activities focused on stroke correction and technique rather than distance swimming.

PM2.5 151+ · Unhealthy

Classes are cancelled

When the unhealthy threshold is reached, classes are cancelled for student safety.

When decisions are made

Official decisions use the 7 AM reading for morning classes and the 2 PM reading for afternoon classes, Singapore time.

No cancellation fee for haze closures

Lessons cancelled due to unhealthy PM2.5, or pool closures due to haze, are not charged. The amount is automatically prorated in the following month’s bill.
